Mystery of Iniquity

The Mystery of Iniquity

When the Lord gives me something to give out, He will often build upon that later. That is why it is so important that we remain meek, which means teachable because the meek and teachable inherit the earth. Therefore I will include small blurbs to make what the Lord recently gave me make sense and give the link if you want to delve in deeper, which I would suggest.

Since Jesus is the truth, He is faithful to bring truth into our deception in this age of demonic doctrines and flesh patting, ear tickling preaching within the church. If you don’t think you can be deceived, you already are, so I would encourage everyone to seek these things out for yourself and search the scriptures because in them you think you have eternal life. Since we all can have mental strongholds of false beliefs because of what we have been taught from the beginning, Jesus who is the truth, will pull down these strongholds of false beliefs with the truth and to reject this truth is to reject Jesus, so please do your own research because we are in end times and time is short. What I am about to teach will show you just how close we really are so pay close attention. I don’t want to be deceived and I don’t want you to be either, so if I am wrong, I want to know it. Even the elect can be deceived. That is because they stopped being teachable or were too prideful to admit the error they have taught for years. I give out what I get and I am learning in the process, so join me on this journey. We can’t tell people to have a relationship with Jesus and then tell them He doesn’t speak to people anymore. He does, and His sheep will hear His voice and show you things to come. The ministry that the Lord gave me back in the early 1990’s was to prepare His Bride or church for His return. This entails, as I am finding out, revealing things that the Holy Spirit has been silent on until the appointed time. That is the definition of Mystery and thus the title of this newsletter. I want people to experience the God of the word, which is different from knowing the word of God. One is experientially and the other is to have knowledge of. To have the knowledge of Jesus does not mean you are a Christian because even the devil has that knowledge and can quote scripture to deceive people. You can know the word of God and not know the God of the Word, or you may have a false idea or image of Him that is not true.

Let’s start with a stronghold and what it is because Jesus is faithful to tear them down: https://www.latter-rain.net/strongholds-in-the-church

Jesus is THE TRUTH and He gave Himself for us that He might sanctify and cleanse us with the washing of the water by the word. Where we are deceived and unable to see our sin or where we have false beliefs, concepts or reasonings regarding our Christianity or faith, Jesus, THE TRUTH, will expose these false beliefs that we have had from our beginnings in order to wash and sanctify us. The word “principalities” in Eph. 6 means false beliefs from our beginning. We are fighting against these strongholds of false beliefs. Where we have false beliefs, satan will operate in our lives and churches and satan has probably been instrumental in bringing this deception or stronghold into the church, but Jesus said that the gates of hell will not prevail against His blood bought bride. Jesus came to deliver us and set us free with THE TRUTH, so we must be meek and teachable in these last days as THE TRUTH exposes our false beliefs and washes and sanctifies us in the water of the word. As Jesus said to Peter when He knelt to wash Peter’s feet and Peter objected, “If you don’t allow me to wash you, you have no part with me.”

A stronghold is a fortress of wrong thinking, beliefs, reasonings, concepts or arguments that we have that allows us to remain in the sin and deception we are in so that we will not change or accept THE TRUTH when Jesus exposes our deception and sin. Thus we reject THE TRUTH, Jesus, and we persecute the person He speaks through because we are so sure we are right and our spirit and mind are not meek, humble and teachable.

Only the meek (teachable) will inherit the earth because they can be instructed unto righteousness. A fortress is usually unpenetrable, strongly defended and doesn’t allow anyone in that doesn’t have the same belief system.

I was recently reading a book by Gary Smalley where he was writing on something called “Confirmational Bias”. Confirmational bias is where you believe or make your mind up about something and look for evidence to support your belief. In the movie Sentinel, which concerns the investigation of the murder of a Secret Service agent, the lead investigator for the Secret Service is surprised when the city police have solved the case after just 30 minutes. The lead investigator for the Secret Service states, “You know what I don’t like about assumptions like that? You tend to only look for the evidence that backs up what you believe and ignore the rest. You won’t see fresh or new evidence. You won’t even be looking for it. You’d probably reject it anyway”.

Psychology can call it “Confirmational Bias” but the bible calls it a stronghold or a false set of beliefs or assumptions, wrong thinking, reasonings, concepts or arguments that looks for evidence to support our beliefs, even in the bible, as we take scripture out of context to create a doctrine, while allowing us to ignore or discredit anything that does not support our belief or reasoning, even if this evidence comes from the bible as well. Our bias lets us read the bible through the colored lens that doesn’t allow us to see clearly. Therefore, let fresh rain from the Holy Spirit wash your distorted, colored lens.

Being Sealed in the Holy Spirit:

When we are born again the biblical way, we are then sealed with the Holy Spirit. https://www.latter-rain.net/what-does-it-mean-to-be-born-again This word “sealed” means a deposit of the Holy Spirit which is different from the baptism in the Holy Spirit. In Jewish tradition, it would be the engagement ring so to speak. It is like putting a deposit on a house with the intent to buy. If the deal falls through, the deposit is returned. In Jewish tradition, an engagement could be broken through a legal “judgment” proving the young woman was unworthy and unfaithful while engaged, which is what Joseph was considering doing when he found out Mary was pregnant with Jesus until an angel appeared to him telling him that the baby was conceived by the Holy Spirit and she had not been unfaithful to Joseph after he proposed. The foolish virgins that ran out of oil before Jesus came for them were judged and thus ran out of oil. The Holy Spirit departed, the engagement was broken and the deposit or seal was returned. Sealed with the Holy Spirit does not mean “Signed, sealed and delivered and nothing can break that seal”. It can be broken, judgment can take place and the Holy Spirit can be removed. In the “once saved, always saved” false doctrine based on half a sentence, we read “sealed” as “signed, sealed and delivered” and you are eternally secure.

Again, I am trying to lay a foundation so I can get to the Mystery of Iniquity, which is what this newsletter is about.

Son of Perdition Revealed

Can you lose your salvation? The question is phrased incorrectly. The question should be “can you fall away from the faith?” The biblical answer is yes, you can fall away from the faith. You can become a “son of perdition” as Judas was called.   Judas is not the only “Son of Perdition” referred to in the bible. Son means mature child who went away into perdition or destruction/eternal damnation. Before Jesus returns the “son of perdition” shall be revealed. The Son of Perdition being revealed is in the context of the church falling away and becoming apostate in end times right before the rapture. If read in context, it is about the church before the rapture, not the anti Christ, and it is being revealed that people in the church can fall away, become apostate and be cut off eternally and go into perdition or hell. The fact that this son of perdition is being “revealed” means that it was not something previously known and is being disclosed at this appointed time.

This is due to the fact that we have false teaching in the church telling us we are eternally secure because we recited a prayer and we cannot fall away or become apostate. We don’t think we can become one because we believe the false Once Saved Always Saved, but can we become a son of perdition and how? Regarding the rapture of the church and the “son of perdition” spoken together in this context, let’s read what the bible says viewing the “son of perdition” as a child of God that has fallen away or became apostate or has departed from the truth, instead of as the Anti Christ. Not saying there isn’t an anti Christ. Anti means against and Christ means anointed. To be against Jesus and what He died to do comes from an anti Christ spirit and Jesus died to remove sin and empower us not to sin through the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The word grace means “empowerment” or “I will supply that which is needed”. This was not available until the Holy Spirit was sent at Pentecost. Grace isn’t the license to sin, but the power of God given to us not to sin so that we are no longer slaves to sin. Our freedom in Christ comes from no longer being a slave to sin. The bibles says that we have been given “power” to become sons of God. This is not done through asking Jesus into your heart, which is nowhere in the bible. This “once saved, always saved” sloppy agape grace without repentance comes from an anti Christ spirit or against Christ and what He died to do. It tells people the same lie told to Eve in the garden “Go ahead and do that. You shall not surely die”. You are eternally secure. That sin is covered. That comes from the spirit of anti Christ or against Christ and what He died to do and that lie goes all the way back to the garden. If you can never be cut off, what is to stop you from sinning is the analogy of that doctrine. Salvation is not a one time thing but a continual process you are expected to cooperate in and work out. The bible says that the righteous will scarcely be saved. If you fall away or are judged and cut off, that process stops. Willful sin in believers is judged as Hebrew 10 states and that word “judged” means crisis or the time it is determined whether one will be cut off or die eternally. I am saying that the “son of perdition” being revealed is in the same sentence and context of the church becoming apostate or departing from the true gospel just before the true bride of Christ is raptured. I am just saying that Jesus is returning soon and in our false “Once Saved Always Saved” gospel where one can never fall away, Jesus may be trying to expose the spiritual stronghold or state of people that believe they are saved, when in fact they have fallen away or became apostate. This He would do because He wishes that none would perish and He is trying to call these apostate ones back to Himself, but before He can, they have to indeed know they are apostate or fallen away so let’s explore this without any biblical strongholds or preconceived beliefs you may have. The son of perdition is a child of God who believed damnable heresies brought into the church and went astray following a false gospel. They word apostate means departing and what they are departing from is the true gospel of Christ, believing demonic doctrines or damnable heresies. If you can’t be damned as a Christian, how can anyone bring in lies or heresies into the church that would damn you? These aren’t people that have gone out into the world. These are people showing up to church every week believing lies thinking it is truth. You can also fall away through the deceitfulness of riches, the cares of this world and so on where the devil steals the word from your heart. Not all fish caught in the fishnet of evangelism are good fish. Some are thrown back. It is all right there in the bible and we do a horrible disservice to people by telling them they are saved and eternally secure because they asked Jesus into their heart when scripture does not support that. These people who do this will be more harshly judged by God and the blood of those people will be on their hands. We tell people they are in Christ Jesus where there is no condemnation and we don’t even know what that is or how that looks. We think people are in Christ Jesus because they recited a prayer. This doctrine is based on half a sentence as well. The whole sentence is never quoted. https://www.latter-rain.net/what-does-it-mean-to-be-in-him

Let’s go to 2 Thes. 2 and read it in context now that I have built somewhat of a foundation so we can learn what this means.

2 Thes 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means (indicating there would be a lot of deception surrounding this matter) for that day (rapture) shall not come, except there come a falling away (apostate church or a church that is so far off from the true gospel) first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. All in the context of an apostate church.

Please keep in mind that this son of perdition is being talked about in the context of the church falling away from the true gospel, thus making them apostate. They have believed damnable heresies. This isn’t about the anti Christ. This son of perdition opposes all that the original church taught and preached and it is an exaltation of self and self will in the church and it is all about their will and way above the will and way of the Lord. They do not submit to Jesus as Lord, they are little gods, and they do not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. Jesus is trying to reach these people before the catching away or rapture in order to give them space to repent and not be left behind in what is to come upon the earth.

2 Thes. 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work. That word mystery was something the Lord kept pointing out to me. I went back to the original language and it means to keep silent on until the appointed time. WOW! In this context of 2 Thes. 2 Where this son of perdition is being revealed in the context of an apostate church or a church that has fallen away from the original gospel of Christ, the Holy Spirit has kept silent on it until the appointed or right time. That time is just before the church is snatched, caught or raptured. That is how close we are people. This son of perdition being revealed means that it was not known and the Holy Spirit is uncovering this. That word mystery means to keep silent on until the appointed time. The word iniquity means “you knew it was wrong and you did it anyway”. The Holy Spirit has been silent on disclosing iniquity causing one to be a son of perdition. It is all in this context in this chapter.

This wicked sort of person will think they can do what they like even while knowing it is wrong because they are eternally secure is being given a chance to repent by tearing down this stronghold with truth in order that they might be saved. The chapter goes on to say that the Lord will consume them with the spirit of His mouth and the brightness of His coming. This is truth and light coming from the throne room of God. Anyone who practices iniquity and does what is wrong knowing it is wrong, they are clearly delusional and will hear Jesus say, “Depart from me you worker of iniquity”. I never knew you. Jesus said this theology is after the working of satan who told the same lie to Eve in the garden.

And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish, because they received not the love of the truth that they might be saved. This is talking about a group of people, not one man who is the anti Christ. What were they deceived about? Their unrighteousness. They thought they were righteous in the eyes of God because of the blood of Jesus, when they were not. They believed the “grace is a license to sin” heresy. Because they did not receive the truth, God sent them strong delusion so that they should believe a lie, that they might be damned, “who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. It is time to repent, be empowered, turn from sin and warn others because the appointed time is now, for such a time as this. Jesus is returning for a glorious church, without spot or wrinkle. Be wise!

SPOTS AND WRINKLES IN THE CHURCH

It is very obvious right now that we live in perilous times or end times. The message the Lord has strongly been giving me has been one of His bride being made merchandise of. When a body becomes a business, it is a prostitute. False teachers in the church have prostituted His bride, making merchandise of her by pimping their wares to people who profit off her. The house of the Lord has been made a den of hieves and instead of freely giving out what He has freely given, only those that can afford it, can purchase the tools to grow spiritually through books, DVD’s etc. What of the people who cannot afford to purchase from these teachers what Jesus has provided to them freely? I am telling you that He is very upset about this practice and the temple tables are going to be overturned and those that pimps their wares and make merchandise of His bride will be driven out lest you repent and speak out against those that won’t.

The Lord keeps bringing me to II Peter 2 and this is about believers who have known Christ and made merchandise of His bride. Especially those that misuse the feast and other such things to get people to give to them so they can receive a special blessing or break through by giving at this special time or feast. They bewitch the people turning them back into works or giving to purchase with their money what Jesus’ blood freely provided.

II Peter 2: But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you (in the church) who privily shall bring in damnable heresies (lies that will damn you), even denying the Lord that bought them (these are believers) and bring upon themselves swift destruction. Any many shall follow their pernicious ways, by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you, of whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their DAMNATION slumbereth not. For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell and delivered them into the chains of darkness to be reserved unto judgment.

II Peter 2 goes on to say, But these as natural brute beats made to be taken and destroyed, speak evil of the things that they understand not, and shall utterly perish in their own corruption. And shall receive the reward of unrighteousness, as they that account it pleasure to riot in the daytime. SPOTS THEY ARE AND BLEMISHES, sporting themselves with their own deceiving while they feast with you. Having eyes full of adultery, and that cannot cease from sin; beguiling unstable souls; a heart they have exercised with covetous practices; curse children (of God). Which have forsaken the right way and are gone astray, following the way of Balaam the son of Bosor, who loves the wages of unrighteousness. Wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest to whom the mist of darkness is reserved forever.

These people promise everything but it is never delivered. Their blessing or break through that they just purchased by giving to these false teachers never produce the promise. That is why these false teachers are clouds without rain or wells without water. It just appears that water or rain is forthcoming, and it doesn’t come as they look for the latter rain or the real thing.

Peter goes on to say that those who are clean escaped from them who live in error. While they promise people liberty, they themselves are the servants of corruption: for of whom a man is overcome, of the same is he brought in bondage. For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled therein and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. For it had been better for the not to have known the way of righteousness, then after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them. (These are believers, not unsaved people, who have fallen away because of the deceitfulness of riches). But it happened unto them according to the true proverb, the dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Jesus is calling these “sons of perdition” who just like Judas, love money more than the Lord and those He purchased with His blood.

So, those of you with your multi- million dollar mansions that were acquired by making merchandise of the bride of Christ are being called to repentance because He isn’t coming for Spots, Wrinkles and Blemishes. Sell all you have, help the people in Haiti or those hungry and in need. Pick up your cross, give to the needy and follow Him. In God’s mercy, you have this window of opportunity to repent in order to be raptured because you are a son of perdition, just like Judas. You have fallen away because of the deceitfulness of riches. Just as the rich young ruler could not be saved until he sold all he had and give to the needy to follow Christ, you can be a foolish virgin who runs out of oil and be locked out when Jesus snatches away the church.

By the way, the rich young ruler did do just that, but it took the condition of his heart to be exposed because he thought he really did love the Lord with his whole heart, mind and soul and his neighbor as himself until he was given something to do to demonstrate that was true. He couldn’t at that time, but with God, all things are possible. Just as Jesus looked on Him with love as he walked away sad, so the Lord does you!

This rich young ruler, by the way, ended up being Nicodemus by historians. I do a whole teaching on that, which you can find here: www.latter-rain.net\foundational_teachings-in-the-church

Excerpts: Jesus didn’t lie to the rich, young ruler.  He told him straight up what he needed to do to prove he was repentant, because he truly thought he had kept all the requirements of the law since his youth and loved the Lord above all else and others as himself. When Jesus told him he had to get rid of his idol and give it to those he claimed to love as himself, it shed light on the real condition of his heart. He didn’t love the Lord above money and what it provides.  Let me ask all of us something?  Is there something in your life that comes before God?  You spend more time in this activity then you do with the Lord.  Video games, social media, money, a relationship, work, porn, pleasure or whatever.  If the Lord asked you to give up something in order to even inherit eternal life, what is the thing you struggle to give up?  Is it worth going to hell for or suffering the wrath of God?  The good news is that when the rich young ruler went away sad, the disciples were beside themselves and said, ”Who  then can be saved?”  Jesus replied that with God, all things are possible, but it starts with telling the person the truth.   In order to understand this, you have to realize that this rich, young ruler was a religious leader of the highest rank.  It said that Jesus loved him and when you love someone, you tell them the truth.  Such and such will keep you from inheriting eternal life or cause you to lose it.  Give it up.  The writings of Josephus, a historian, names who this rich, young ruler was.  He was Nicodemus.  I always thought of Nicodemus as an old man.  He came to Jesus a second time asking what he needed to do to inherit eternal life.  It said he came to Jesus at night because he was afraid of the Jews or other leaders and what they thought.  What had changed for him to come to Jesus expecting a different answer?  Jesus now told him what he needed to do and that was to be born again of water (water baptism for the remission of past sins he had repented of) and be baptized of the Holy Spirit.  By now, he had sold all he had, was a closet disciple and was expecting a different answer.  He was pressing in, seeking the Kingdom of God and asking the right questions. Would he have done this if Jesus hadn’t loved him enough to tell him the truth the first time.   He didn’t seem to be put off the first time his heart was revealed to him when Jesus told him to sell all he had and give to the poor, even though the bible says he went away sad.  At least he knows he wasn’t who he thought he was and he knew what he had to do to get what he wanted.    John 3 talks about this where Nicodemus came to Jesus in the night secretly.  Jesus told him, “Art thou a master of Israel and knowest not these things?”  The Lord would say to us in the five-fold ministry, “Art thou a master, teacher, pastor, prophet, apostle and know not these things?”  These are basic to salvation and we don’t have the basics right.  We would have led this rich young ruler in a salvation prayer and pronounced him saved and eternally secure as he marched off to hell.

After the crucifixion of Jesus we have the progression in Nicodemus’ spiritual journey.  John 19:38 states that Joseph of Arimathea, who was Nicodemus’ best friend, and being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus.  This Joseph was a closet disciple of Christ’s like Nicodemus USED TO BE.  Why do I say that Nicodemus used to be?  Because John19:39 states that Nicodemus WHICH AT THE FIRST, came to Jesus at night.  Nicodemus used to be a closet seeker of Jesus and now he was openly a follower.  Joseph was rich, Nicodemus used to be rich but had sold all he had to follow Jesus.  What the Lord showed me was that Nicodemus had to convince his rich, but closet friend who was called a disciple of Christ to go and ask for the body of Christ to bury Him.  Joseph was very rich and would have had servants.   He didn’t send a servant to do it.  He went himself.  Probably because he was still a closet disciple and afraid to openly express his discipleship to Jesus.   The Lord also showed me that these were not old men because when Joseph went to get the body, he had to lift it.  There is a reason they call it dead weight.  Not something an old man can do.  Nicodemus went to get the myrrh and aloes, which John 19:39 says it was about a hundred-pound weight.  These were not old men.  These were young men who could lift these weights.  When I came to this part, the Lord showed me that when this was written, He made sure this 100 lb. weight was mentioned for this very reason because He would disclose it when the time required it.  That blew me away.  No longer were Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea old men in my mind.  How would Nicodemus, this rich, young ruler, or one of highest rank have come to this point if Jesus hadn’t told him the truth and confronted the condition of his heart and what came before God.  The Lord also showed me that Nicodemus no longer had a tomb, because he had sold it and that is why he had to go to his best friend who was a closet disciple to lay Jesus in Joseph’s tomb.  Nicodemus would have if he had a tomb to lay Jesus in.  Not only that, but it was a tomb only a rich man could afford in a beautiful garden.  We miss so much when we read the bible that only the Lord can open up and reveal to us.

Nicodemus had this spiritual progression only when his true heart condition was exposed for what it was so that he could inherit eternal life.  Jesus loved him enough to tell him the truth.  When he showed fruit that proved he was repentant, he came to Jesus a second time asking what he needed to do to inherit eternal life and this indicated that he had done as Jesus instructed, which was to get rid of any idol he placed above God in order to come and follow Him.  He now expected a different answer because he showed fruit that proved he was repentant as he had heard John preach.  This would not have happened if he had not been told he had an idol and he needed to get rid of it to inherit eternal life.

Jesus is coming for a Glorious Church, without spot or wrinkle and He is restoring things to His church before He returns.  He said that He would gather out of His kingdom all who The church will be judged before the world. He is not talking about unbelievers. I sopray we allow Him to wash us in the water of the word.  He weeps over those who are lost in our pews.  I don’t want to be held accountable to those ending up in the lake of fire because of a stronghold or false belief I hold on to because of pride.   Lord forgive us!

We are still in the time of Pentecost or grace. It is time to repent before the fall feast of the rapture is fulfilled because that time is upon us. The son of perdition is being revealed in order to give him space to repent and be caught up as well. To reveal means to disclose something that was not previously known because of our false doctrines. The mystery of iniquity has also been revealed. That means that something has been unfolded or disclosed at the appointed time. That time is now! With truth comes a response to it. How will you respond? How will you teach others you have influenced so that they don’t perish as well so that their blood is not on your hands?

“Involuntary ignorance is not charged against you as a fault; but your fault is this—you neglect to inquire into the things you are ignorant of.” Willful ignorance is a trait of people in the end times.

The bible says “now you know what to withhold from them so that their pernicious ways are revealed”. Get off the plank. The truth shall set you free!
